Ronen Chen started his career in fashion design upon graduating from Israel's prestigious "Shenkar Fashion Institute". After a brief internship with designer Gideon Oberzon, he created the label that bears his name.
Since 1994, the name "Ronen Chen" has been synonymous with clothes made for real women, who want classic elegant lines that are timelessly in fashion. His designs are shown regularly at several of the world's leading fashion events, including the "Coterie" in New York and "Pret-a-Porter" in Paris.
The designer's unique design approach is guided by the fabrics he uses; he drapes materials on mannequins, rather than drawing sketches. This method results in clothes that drape beautifully and are both comfortable and flattering. His minimalist-geometric style has earned him a following all over the world of hip, urban women who know what they like to wear.
To date, Ronen Chen has 12 boutiques in Israel and his designs are sold in over 400 retail boutiques around the world. His opening of successful showrooms in Ireland and North America (the US and Canada) was followed by an entrée into Holland, Belgium and England.
